"Gates of Argonath" a bold oriental balkan mixture.
This sells out fast so if you see it, get some! I originally made this purely for myself as I do here and there, but some pipesolk expressed interest so here it is. This is very heavy balkan blend with LOTS of orientals and a solid amount of latakia, and some virginia. Jar label now included.
Expect tasting notes of woodsy orientals, dark bread and musty earth. Some might find some notes of gingerbread and natural sweetness as well. But make not mistake this is a full bodied english balkan. I only use a "rich" variety of latakia, so you wont find any "creosote" taste here however. This may not be for everyone, but those who like the english blends of old should probably enjoy it!

I've been holding off on reviewing this, not because it doesn't deserve a review but because I'm selfish and want to have this all to myself! This is probably my favorite English/balkan at the moment. Dark, rich, and decadent are the best adjectives I can think of to describe this blend. It's a full flavor blend, but it's not one note by any means. I get dark and earthy tones primarily, but there's also a lot of baking spice and just a little bit of sweetness that complements it all. 5 stars!
This is the most savory English blend style I've ever smoked, it's full, delicious, and the subtle ginger taste is there, the latakia is perfect balanced with orientals, congratulations James you make magic.
