Eleventh Day of Christmas 2024 ~ Straight orange and brown broken virginia flake
I always enjoyed the years of McClelland Christmas cheer that were made with orange, and red-orange virginia leaf. They were sweet, pungent, and unique.
This year I wanted to try and create a flake that was reminiscent of that special yearly celebration. Eleventh Day of Christmas this year is a broken, straight orange and dark brown virginia flake.
Tasting notes are of mahogany and dark brown virginia, hay, and a touch of ripe oranges; non-aromatic. There is no casing applied, there is no top dressing applied. There is an “essence” that enhances the orange virginia leaves, bringing them to the front. Dry it a touch, or take it straight from the tin; it takes to the match very easily. If you enjoy straight virginias, I guarantee you will enjoy this. Limited to 250 sealed 50g tins.

I'm not the type of guy that can break down a tobacco, describing notes of worn leather and heather stems. All I know is that I LOVE THIS STUFF!! And all I know is that you MUST make more of this! This needs to be an all year available blend. Not just a holiday treat. Just my opinion. I should've bought ten tins instead of just two.
