Savinelli Porto Servo Smooth 607 NEW old stock
 
The Porto Cervo smooth line was discontinued a few years ago.  These pipes were made with a special stock of lightweight Sardinian briar. This one is unsmoked!

Estate valuation:  To value estate briar, I use various sources including personal knowledge, carver reputation, consignor suggestion, Ebay, and pipe forums.  I try to strike a good balance between a fair price for both buyers and consignors.  I will never allow a consignor to list a piece at outrageous prices.
